Villa Charities: Brand Video

Villa Charities is a registered charity and non-profit organization that cultivates, promotes and celebrates Italian culture and heritage. We were asked to create a brand video designed to showcase the range of services, programs and facilities that Villa Charities has provided to the Italian Canadian community in Toronto and the GTA for over four decades. The goal was to create a video that was visually compelling while also remaining true to the Villa Charities’ brand; at the same time, it was crucial that it serve as a vehicle to help with a number of signature fundraising events, including the resurgence of the popular Venetian Ball.

The video we produced focused on who Villa Charities is and what they’ve accomplished at the very heart of the Italian Canadian community in Toronto for almost 50 years.The video emphasized their contributions in the health, social, cultural and educational fields, which enrich and enhance the quality of life and honour the Italian heritage. By skillfully combining photos and animation, the brand video worked to draw viewers in by making them feel like an appreciated and welcomed guest by the Villa Charities community. It also served to help make the charity feel contemporary and very much of the moment, featuring an upbeat music track and quick-cutting visuals that communicated the vitality, vibrancy and dynamism at the heart of Italian-Canadian culture.
