We created this entertaining yet data-driven animated video for the Canadian Venture Capital & Private Equity Association. The 2D piece, directed by Craig Kirkham, was developed to showcase the private capital industry, not CVCA – an important distinction that guided our messaging and overall design. As with all of our videos, we worked closely with the CVCA guidelines to develop a visual language that anchored the creative in the brand’s colours, fonts and iconography. As part of the overall content strategy, we produced a master video that spoke to both the venture capital and private equity stories; that said, it was built as a modular narrative – which allowed CVCA the flexibility to release edited cut-downs on either topic. At the end of the day, our client received a multi-purpose video, perfect for its website, social media channels, presentations and conferences.
